I bought this rug because it is machine washable and I have a dog. It doesn’t show up the dog hair and is reasonably easy to vaccum. A beautiful looking rug but very thin pile. It would be nicer if it was a bit thicker, especially on a hybrid wood floor . I walk on it with shoes as it has a silky feel and not sure if I would slip on it. It’s hard to know from a picture on a website. Probably would have bought a different rug
