Emile French Provincial Entertainment Unit

My order was delivered by Toll and the driver was absolutely professional and greeted me with a lovely hello. The tv entertainment unit I bought was exactly as the photo, well packed and in an excellent condition. I am more than happy with my purchase. I also paid for the extra protection and it was not necessary as really well packaged. My first purchase but it won’t be my last.

Very elegant and beautifully made piece of furniture. Great value for money.

A really visually beautiful TV cabinet, however I had a few issues: #1. The drawers don't sit flush, and the wood grain on the front of the drawers don't match the wood grain on the rest of the outer cabinet. #2. The screws at the back of the drawer runners on one side were screwed in at an angle, meaning they stuck out and were preventing the drawer from fully closing. I couldn't screw them further in, because the diagonal angle made it so they still remained poking out (and I don't have a drill to make an entirely new thread at the proper angle). So I removed the 2 screws at the back of each runner, and was able to make the drawer close fully. #3. The drawer runners and the wheels on the drawers aren't very good quality and don't run smoothly. Lots of the black paint is getting chipped off because of this. #4. The chemical smell from the wood paint is very strong, even after I've wiped it all down. It has only been three days, so hopefully it will fade away soon. The good stuff: - Solid built, it will definitely last more than 1 lifetime. A great piece to pass on from generation to generation. - The doors have magnets inside, so they can be closed securely. - It's a lot larger than what you would assume from the photo. It fit my 65 inch TV. - Stunning to look at. One final point that isn't related to this piece: I implore Temple and Webster to stop using Allied Express as a delivery service. They were the worst delivery company I've ever had to deal with. I would love to buy more furniture items from T&W, but I am incredibly hesitant to now, as they use Allied Express for delivery.
