Dhala-bu-nya Bula Green Canvas Art Print - Sharp and methodical, this labyrinthine contemporary Aboriginal piece features ladder like structures weaving and overlapping one another, representative of the Earth's cracks and crevices after a drought. Artist Amanda Hinkelmann has used this piece to create a visual metaphor for reluctant acceptance of support after neglect. The colour palette is earthy and muted, featuring warm, coffee brown tones interspersed with grey, beige, aqua and green shades.
After a long drought the ground, as desperate as it is for water, forebodes its penetration, although it is such a vital life source, due to its absence when it was needed most.

Inspired by drought
Born on Wiradjuri Land in Wagga Wagga, artist Amanda Hinkelmann draws inspiration from her hometown. Layered with brown and green and accents of mint, this piece is a metaphorical representation of the absence of support when it's needed most.
Diminished risk of rips
Framed using solid timber, the poly-cotton canvas is constructed for longevity. It holds onto the high quality archival inks of the artwork and minimises the risk of rips.

I cannot express how much I love this canvas print. The picture doesn’t do it justice - it is beyond beautiful! I’ve bought a lot of items from T&W for our new house, and this print is by far my favourite. Despite being a flat print, the textures look real and like an actual acrylic painting.
