Amira Rahim
Amira Rahim is a versatile painter who works primarily in acrylics and mixed media. Playing with colour and texture on paper and canvas, she works interchangeably between abstract and figurative, often meeting somewhere in the middle. Her abstracts, meticulous in their use of colour and pattern, seems at first glance to be heavily influenced by late abstract expressionism. However, a deeper understanding of Amira Rahim's background and inspirations reveal an artist who has successfully blended her passion, intellectual rigour, and technique to create a fresh, original body of work.

Love Amira Rahim's prints. We have several in our home and they do not disappoint. (Wish I could review the others but they don't appear in my list to be reviewed!) This particular work is a lovely focal point at the base of our stairwell. It's a striking and colourful delight in a mid century minimalist space. True to the image online. The brushwork is a little big on this size print so you might want a smaller size if you want it "true to form".

Beautiful, colourful and quality canvas. However, disappointed the Temple & Webster showed pics with light timber around the edges of this canvas and delivered product is different. I also double checked prior to purchase via T & W chat. The chat confirmed a wood border was around it, which is why I purchased it. When I received it no timber around the edges of the canvas print. Only a timber frame on the other side that the Canvas is stretched on. It looks nice on the wall but would have looked better (more high end) with timber around it. So disappointed with my purchase! I would not have purchased if I knew it did not have a wood frame around the canvas.
