Cream Timothee Hand-Woven Wool-Blend Rug

I recently purchased a rug from Temple & Webster and I’m really happy with it. The quality exceeded my expectations for the price it feels durable, well-made, and looks even better in person than it did online. The colours and texture fit perfectly with my living room and instantly made the space feel more warm and put together. Delivery was smooth and reasonably quick, and the rug arrived well packaged with no issues. It also flattened out nicely after a short time, which is always a bonus. Absolutely love this rug. The chunky woven texture adds so much warmth and makes the whole room feel more styled, calm and cohesive without overpowering the space. The natural tones work perfectly with the timber floors and soft furnishings, giving it a relaxed Scandinavian feel. The size was spot on and really helped anchor the living area properly. Quality feels fantastic too. Also incredibly impressed that it was delivered within 48 hours.

this rug is beautiful and ties our space in together perfectly. it’s contrast against my wooden floorboards brings a warm lightness to the room and gave both our study and lounge room the welcoming warmth it was lacking. has a funny smell for a few days but after that’s gone, you’re left with a beautiful rug

This rug looks exactly like the photo!! It’s perfect if you want that natural jute rug looks exactly but still want it to be soft on your feet! Would recommend.

do really like this rug overall and it works in my space, however it didn’t quite meet the expectation I had based on the product photos. In the images on the website the rug appears much more cream, whereas the one I received has significantly more darker tones woven throughout. I also noticed that many of the darker woven strands feel quite loose, and some of them appear to be a completely different material, almost straw-like in certain areas. It’s quite noticeable in places and makes the texture feel inconsistent. Because of this, I’m a little concerned about how the rug will hold up over time and whether those fibres will continue to loosen. While I’m able to make it work in the room, I was slightly disappointed as I purchased it expecting a more cream-toned rug like the one shown online.

I wasn’t sure at first as it not my usual choice but every time I look at it and walk on it and love it even more and balances my strong colours on the room

I have been looking for a rug just like this however, most, if not all, the stores I have looked at were $900-$1600 for it. I came along this one and thought i would give it ago - so glad I did! I love it. You would never guess the difference.

We absolutely love this rug. It has really brought the living room together. It is so cosy on the feet , we love the texture and so stylish. The rug was delivered really promptly and is exactly what it looks like in the photos.

Do not recommend! At first glance, the rug looks beautiful and soft, and from a distance it gives the impression of being a high quality piece. Unfortunately, that impression changes once you look at it closely. The finishing is quite poor and the construction appears rough, with several fibres not properly secured. Some of the natural strands look like they are simply wrapped or tucked into the weave rather than firmly stitched, and after a short period of normal use they have already started to loosen and come out. You can see small fibres separating from the weave in multiple areas, which makes the rug look like it is beginning to unravel. Considering that this was not a cheap purchase, the level of craftsmanship and durability is very disappointing. While it may look great from afar, the poor finishing and loose fibres become very noticeable up close.
