Product needs a vertical support piece near the bend as it is not strong enough to stay horizontal as designed when a shower curtain is placed on it. Should come with and also should easily remove the end which you can not, so as to slide on a ring and vertical support without a flanging tool to reapply the end to the bracket. Basically looks good but is not functional and annoying after purchase regret.
