I love this stylish, well-constructed classic design. We ordered four. One had a damaged lampshade. Temple and Webster replaced it promptly and without any fuss. Elegant lamp. Easy to put together and a sturdy design. High quality materials. Expect it will last a long, long time. Looks great, too!

The lampshade does not sit firmly, keeps moving and tilting. Have to constantly adjust, other than that the quality and look is pretty good.

It's a good design, but the base and the top aren't affixed in any way to the main pole (they are just a simple turn to tube join) and aren't a tight fit, so it wobbles from side to side and the base falls off when you pick the lamp up to move it. If it was a screw fir to the top and bottom, it would be five star. So you can expect to either glue the two fittings or keep the lamp straight by pushing wedges under the base.
