The "marble" feels and looks very plastic-y. I have "faux-stone" furniture and it does not have this same (honestly embarassing) look to it. It looks like pool lino or contact paper you'd use to cover your books in primary school, and feels like a Tupperware type plastic. Suggest you buy non-marble effect items.
