About the Manufacturer
In 2002, Jason Stoter was studying abroad at the Universidad de Guadalajara in Mexico. During this time Jason stumbled across an entrepreneur selling hammocks on the West Coast of Mexico. It was love at first sight with the hammocks and Jason proceeded to strike a deal and purchase his first hammock. After his studies, he sourced hammocks from several villages in the Yucatan peninsula that had been weaving hammocks for generations. This was the beginning of Hammock Village. The next few years experienced tremendous growth as the outdoor living market continued to boom. And as a result of the year over year growth, an inspiring change was made and Hammock Village now calls itself Vivere Ltd. Vivere Ltd. will continue to offer the same quality and service that one could expect from Hammock Village, but they will go beyond hammocks and begin introducing other inspiring lines for outdoor living. Vivere Ltd. will continue to expand its hammock lines with vibrant new colours and contemporary designs. Their desire is to promote relaxation and healthy lifestyles for all Australians. Comfy. I use a chair for a footrest. Read in it all the time. Used a stainless anchor plate into concrete with masonry screws, a stainless carabiner connected to that and the cotton rope I used to hang it which matches it (not provided, all from the big green store). Can take it down quick in bad weather using the carabiner.

My 1-year old loves his slide. The ball has been chewed up by the dog, but we can easily use any ball that fits thru the ring. It’s a good height for his age, can be weighted down by water or sand to make it secure. The stickers don’t stick well, was on there for a day or two and it just fell off. Doesn’t bother us cause we drew our own faces on it and put whatever stickers fancied my son. The hammock is waiting to be installed, we’re waiting to get some rope and chain to secure it to a beam. But we can’t wait to use it soon.

Super comfy and a great size. I can fit in it with my feet tucked in and I added two square pillows. You do need to get something to hang it with, as if you hang it straight on to a hook it will be quite high off the ground.
