If you love your baby get a different mattress. My dog puts up with it & pines for his old bed. He would rather sit on the lounge then in his bed now. Really can feel each individual spring if this was adult sized I wouldn't sleep on this, couldn't imagine making my bub use this daily. If you're stuck with it already layer it with blankets/quilts to reduce pokey springs yet for a bub minimal bedding is safest so I don't know, it's just a crap mattress.
