- The production of a hand loomed rug is a community based activity, providing a stable source of income for the villagers in the area; looms are located in the weaver's home & are operated completely by hand, without the use of electricity
- Lightly vacuum once or twice a week using the lightest possible setting, avoid powerful vacuums that may pull fibres loose from the base of the rug, vacuum the base of your rug occasionally, as dirt can accumulate here as well, blot spills with a paper towel or colourless cloth, do not wipe or scrub, & spot clean with a small amount of gentle detergent & warm water, for further cleaning tips, please contact your rug cleaning professional
- Please note, this rug may experience shedding which will lessen over time, shedding renews the fibre & keeps your wool rug looking fresh & new for many years, the soft, felted wool may flatten over time so is recommended for low traffic areas
