The photos of the mirror shows specs or dots which I took to illustrate the presence of a mirror (difficult to photograph a reflective surface). When it arrived, the mirror actually does have dots all over it. It's a poorly executed faux antique look. Otherwise, very lovely, but not the quality I was looking for.
