Just don't drag the box along your floor as I scratched my entire laminated flooring. Desk is good. The mouse pad is not a bright red as per the photo. It is a faded red. The writing on the side of the desk is just a sticker. The desk marks very easily. It's sturdy and does the job. My son likes it
