I love the look of this table and it’s the perfect size for our family. Unfortunately, it didn’t take long for the paint to start bubbling and chipping. I use placemats to protect the table from hot dishes and mainly just use a damp cloth to wipe it clean so I’m not sure why it’s happening. It isn’t too obvious, so it’s not a massive issue but still disappointing.

This table is lovely - very solid and a great size. BUT - for it to be delivered in a ply wood box that is nailed shut might be great to protect it but very difficult for a customer to unpack and then dispose of the bulky timber box. Surely there's a better solution???
