I recently purchased this chair in purple. The chair turned up in great condition and is a quality chair. 2 issues, the purple is brighter than it looked in the photo (I thought it was more a deep lavender) but the bigger issue is that it was extremely difficult to screw the legs on. The screws would not go into the frame with just a screwdriver and really struggled with a drill.

WOW, so impressed with both delivery and product. I order the chair this Wednesday and it turned up today Friday. Got my lovely neighbour to drill holes into the underside and assemble legs. It looks so lovely in my small lounge room and goes so well with the dark blue grey lounge and generally brightens up the room. And very comfy to sit in too. I have so many more things to buy from Temple and Webster but unfortunately will have to save up unless I'm lucky enough to win the $500 dollar gift card. Fingers and toes crossed. Thank you Temple and Webster, love your stuff and I have recommended you to many of my friends.

Beautiful chair but instructions for installation of legs could be better. Lucky I have a tradie in the house.

This item was my first purchase with Temple and Webster and my first on line purchase so I was concerned if I had made a good choice without actually seeing it. The chair was even better than I thought the colour Black was a perfect black ended up buying two more. The only thing was the legs were rather hard to do . But needed a drill to install Once again love the whole look of these chairs. Very fast deliveries from Temple and Webster.

Tricky to assemble as there are no pre-drilled holes. The nice 'gold' colour that's shown on the ad. is actually a bright yellow. If it wasn't for the cost of returning, I would send these back. Not happy!

Obsessed with this chair. I got the green and it’s stunning. Legs were a pain to put on (need a drill to screw them in) but worth the extra effort 100%.

This chair is so stunning, modern, super comfy and a great size. We love it and I want to purchase another one. The colour is fab! Like a lot of the other comments though it is hard to put together, it took quite a while and the instructions weren’t the best. You definitely need a drill for this, there are no pre drilled holes.

Lovely chair. Unfortunately the colour did not match the advertised colour so we returned it. T+W made the returns incredibly simple.

Beautiful chair. Fast delivery. Reviews were super useful about the legs so we were prepared - needed a drill bit and a bit of strength but knowing that made it fast. Wish it was a tiny bit bigger.

Bit harder to assemble than I thought as no holes for the legs but the quality was good and it’s comfy - overall very happy with this purchase

Great chair! Legs were a little hard to put on. The outline where they should have gone was incorrect on the bottom of the chair. Once they were on, really happy and super comfy.

The chair came with screws and legs but no holes, just a rough marking for where the legs would go. The instruction sheet says to put the legs in with screws and screw driver. This did not work. There are no markings where the holes should go. This was a bad design with poor assembly instruction. This was extremely difficult to assemble. We drilled in the holes in using drill bits and even broke a drill bit trying to drill into the spots. The legs are also tilted, which makes the screw behind the tilt extremely difficult to put in.

Needed to drill holes on the base for legs. Does not come with predrilled holes. Disappointing.

Absolutely stunning chair - very glamorous - a real statement piece. Very difficult to put together - which is a common theme on the reviews...

I love the color and material of the chair. But must admit that the instruction to attach the legs are very poor. And I must agree with other reviewers, the legs are difficult to install.

Bought this in the purple and it's the best purchase I've ever made! Super soft feel and big enough to curl up in very comfortably. NOTE: You need a power drill to attach the legs - was a bit of a saga to put together.

I would really like to give this a bigger rating as the chair is a beautiful colour and looks comfortable. However, I have been challenged by putting the legs on and it is still sitting upside down on my floor with only one leg on. I have tried pre-drilling, but ended up with a broken drill bit for my troubles. The instructions say it only takes 20 mins to put the legs on - I would personally allow at least 2 hours! This is a serious design floor for what should be a good chair.
