Anderson Queen Bed with Bookcase Headboard

I bought this to replace my old bed frame and it’s great. I like the shelves built into the frame and love the colour.

Fantastic solid bed. Just takes a bit to assemble. Otherwise it’s perfect.

Asse I recently purchased a new bed from Temple & Webster, and I couldn’t be happier with my choice. This is my 3rd piece from the Anderson range (I ordered them at the same time and built the bed last). Although the design looks nice from a distance, this bed is highly impractical and really just cheap junk. Not at all worth what I paid. Many of the panels had scratches on them and during the build process a lot of the pieces didn’t line up well leaving gaps and causing poor alignment between pieces. The backing and shelf on the bed head are very flimsy. This bed is HEAVY. I couldn’t move it once assembled so you need to make sure you build it exactly where you want it. The total weight of the 3 boxes is nearly 130 kg. I had to cut the boxes open where they were delivered and bring the pieces inside as I could not move any of the boxes on my own. I also ran into the issue of my mattress barely fitting. It is so tight I cannot tuck the sheets in. I also have a pillow top which comes up quite high making the bed head look tiny. Put some pillows on there and it almost disappears making it quite useless to have all that storage. I was really disappointed with the depth of the shelving. I can only just fit my kindle and a small book doesn’t fit. I have to stand them up. It makes me wonder what you can actually fit in there. The other thing that is really frustrating is that your pillow just falls straight in the cavity, like if you were sleeping with no wall behind you. You also can’t sit up in bed because again, your pillow falls in the cavity. It’s like you need to fill the cavity to make it functional which then defeats the whole purpose of having the bed head for storage. I wish I never purchased this. I would have been better off with my mattress on the floor. The bed frame has served not additional function and I’m really frustrated that I spent this much money on something that didn’t live up to my expectations.

It took a long time to assemble, but once it was put together, the bed frame matched the bedroom perfectly. I don’t think I’ll be taking it with me when I move, as disassembling it seems nearly impossible. However, I'm very satisfied with it considering the price.

Hard to install

Some Parts were labelled incorrectly and it was difficult to put together. I did have a scratch mark on it but hopefully the mattress covers it. Must’ve rubbed in shipping

Purchased this bed and within a year of normal use it has failed in multiple points causing the mattress supporting slats near the head and the middle to be unsupported. Highly disappointing as the 1 year warranty is from purchase and not actual use…

This bed is not a solid wood bed. There are too many screws and pieces to assemble. It took me almost 3 hours just to assemble this bed. The material and structure of this bed is so bad if you try to move it after assemble it may fall apart. Do not buy this product at any cost otherwise you will regret.

This bed is strong and as good as it looks in the picture only took my husband and son about 30 mins to assemble. Very happy and excellent value for money.

Does take a few hours to assemble but end result worth it. Sturdy, lovely timber look. Shelves are handy
