Anderson 5 Drawer Chest

Somewhat sturdy and looks well in our room although drawer assembly is not our strong point and we always struggle to get them working smoothly.

Looks as described, was a bit of a pain to put together but not too bad. The rails for the drawers are not great. One drawer keeps popping off the rail. Decent for the price but not the best.

Nice drawers easy to assemble

Took 2 days to put together. Front came off two drawers so needed super glue with the wooden plugs. Runners are rickety and drawers don’t run smoothly. Deeply disappointed. The drawers are such a hassle I’ll be getting rid of it.

The dresser looks very nice once assembled, but it only lasted over a year before starting to fall apart. We live in semi tropical weather, so perhaps it will hold up longer in drier climates. We also found it to be very difficult to assemble, much more so than other items, which we have quite a lot of experience assembling.

Good solid build

Not happy at all this fell apart as o was putting it together the holes for the screws were on spot on making it not square and the drawers don’t close properly very disappointing I’ll be asking for a replacement or refund

Draws are quite unstable and if too much weight they are slipping off tracks. Was quite difficult with 2 people to put together. Due to tracks not lining up at all. And needing a lot of troubleshooting.

beautiful and practical addition to any room

These drawers are very shallow and even though built exactly to the instructions, the tracks and wheels don't align. The drawers themselves aren't able to hold the weight of my clothing inside. The wheels fall off the side track when simply pulling and pushing the drawers in and out and as a result the alignment of the drawers are off center. I would not recommend buying these drawers and feel heavily robbed of my money and what I thought was meant to be a good chest of drawers. This item did not meet my expectations of what was described.

Disappointed in these. The back on the draws have exposed wood and after 2 full months they still smell like wood. We let the draws air out for 2 full weeks before adding clothes to them. But they have still made all our clothes smell bad.

Loved it so much I bought two! Great for older people or arthritis and other mobility issues. Draws are light weight and holds a surprisingly large amount of clothing. Deep enough for woollens too.

Piece 12 doesn’t have drill holes took 2 weeks to arrive now I have bits and pieces and clutter everywhere and no complete draws very disappointed should refund 1/2 of purchase price for the inconvenience

I purchased this item from Temple & Webster in March, and unfortunately, it has been a big letdown. The railings? measurement of wood are slightly oversized, which causes the side panels to bulge out, creating noticeable gaps and misalignment. This flawed design means the drawers don't stay on their tracks and tend to fall off whenever I try to open them. The construction feels flimsy overall, and the drawers are far from smooth in operation. They don’t sit properly, and the gaps on the sides are really off-putting. The whole unit feels unstable, adding to the frustration. Considering the price, I expected much better quality. This purchase feels like a complete waste of money, I strongly advise looking for alternatives.

Draws do not fit properly, as multiple other reviews state. Absolute waste of money and time. Overpriced for the poor quality even if it was functional (which it is not). Will not order from this business again.

Great unit, but the drawers are a little flimsly, just like the other Anderson products.

AWFUL, DO NOT BUY! After getting to the final build step, we found that the drawers don't fit in. It seems that two beams on the front side are somehow 5mm longer than they should be, pushing the side panels out (bowing the wood slightly) and it means the rail on the drawers don't reach the rails on the side panels. It sounds the same issue that many other people are having, with the drawer falling off the rails. It baffles me that their production process allows this kind of mistake to pass. Incredibly disappointing. Furthermore, the description says the internal drawer measurements are 20.5cm high. This is incorrect - the FRONT of the drawer is 20.5cm, the actual internal usable height of the drawer is 14cm. There's lots of wasted space internally with the position of the drawer base (which could have been lower) and the beams (which could have been higher). There are also lots of pre-drilled holes missing, where the instructions say the should be a hole, there isn't. I can't believe the poor craftsmanship of this flat pack. I'd give it a 0 star if I could.

Unusable. There is nothing to anchor the from of the dresser, so the draws don't fit properly. Not even worth assembling the rest of them.

Cheaply made, angle supports inside support beams between drawers were not bent at correct angles and resulted in pushing sides of unit out so drawers constantly fell off rails. Had to remove angle supports and screw from outsides into panels to hold sides on properly.

Flimsy. Draws don't stay on draw runners. Don't recommend

I'd give it a 0 star if it's an option. Measurements of the pieces are slightly of, the drawers do not align! I just assembled it, the drawers fall of the track every time I open them already! The product is really poorly made, and bad quality. Will not buy again, waste of money.

Really nice looking chest of drawers. Not amazing quality as the the draws aren't super sturdy, but does the job.

Looks gorgeous. The only issue is the drawer runners suck - like cheap. One drawer doesn't function properly but it I replace the drawer runners it will be fine.

This did not go together for well. And it is quite unstable!!!

It is beautiful but it feels cheap and weak. The drawers are bunky and clunky. We used it in our son's room and he tends to just shove clothes in his drawers. Definitely NOT the tall boy to get if you're not going to take your time and care with putting clothes away
