Amara 3 Drawer Chest

I loved my Amara chest of drawers so much I bought another one. They look perfect together in my bedroom and provide great storage.

Perfect quality and design

Excellent with the exception of the drawers being too short in comparison to the cabinet. Easy instructions if one needs them however if you are half handy it can be done without instructions.

Putting this chest of drawers together nearly ended my marriage — but look at her now. Sleek, black, and standing proud like nothing happened. Worth every Allen-key-induced tantrum. Five stars for the finished product, minus a few emotional scars.

I recently purchased the Amara Chest of Drawers and had a mixed experience. On the positive side, the delivery was quick, and the instructions provided were clear and easy to follow. Assembly wasn’t too difficult, and the finished design looks sleek and upmarket, which initially gave a good impression. However, there are a few drawbacks that became apparent once the unit was in use. The drawers are surprisingly small and have limited storage capacity, which makes them less practical than expected. Additionally, the chest uses Quickfit and Cam Lock fittings for assembly—common in lower-end furniture—which tend to loosen over time, affecting the overall stability. For a product in this price range, I would have expected more durable construction. The base and back panels of the drawers are made from very thin material, which further undermines the quality and gives it a somewhat flimsy feel. Overall, while the chest looks good aesthetically, it falls short in terms of build quality and functionality. I expected a sturdier, more robust product given its cost.

Arrived and is just like the picture. does hold a strong paint smell that has lasted but is fading slowly.

Solid unit and directions were easy to follow. Would like the drawers to slide out a little easier but unit fair for the price.

Really addition to my daughters nursery, although the drawers can’t hold a lot of weight has the be evenly distributed or the drawers slightly rub on closing!

Great dresser - very stylish. Not sure about ability to store heavy objects as the base of drawers are not as solid as other drawers but if storing clothes would be perfect (that’s the only reason for 4 stars - appearance is 5 stars)

Firstly, the 3-door cabinet looks sleek and beautiful — it really fits well in almost any space! However, we encountered a few issues. Despite my husband being very skilled with flatpacks, this one was surprisingly difficult to assemble. Once put together, the cabinet felt quite flimsy and not as sturdy as we had hoped, which raises concerns about its durability. We also found the drawers to be smaller than expected, even after checking the measurements beforehand — they just don't suit our intended use. For the price we paid, we honestly expected a higher-quality product. Aesthetically it's lovely, but overall, we’re quite disappointed with the value and build quality.

Love the look of this dresser. Was a bit challenging to put together but it looks fantastic. The drawers are on the small side and the pulls are a bit difficult for my child who is using it, but overall it’s good quality.
