Allen L-Shaped Executive Desk

I have purchased quality products (including a very nice bed) from Temple and Webster before. This is not one of those products. The instructions are appalling. My 6 year old could draw a better guide. I’m less than half way through the build and I have had to stop. The cam bolts don’t actually screw into the wood, and the cam locks they fit together simply fall out. I’ve built at least 20 different flat pack pieces of furniture over the last 20 years and I know how to use cam bolts and cam locks. The entire unit is less sturdy than a ginger bread house. Unless you are willing to drill in many, many extra screws yourself to hold the unit together, do not buy this desk under any circumstances. So far I can count 8 pre-drilled holes that don’t need to be there and at least 12 that are missing. The attached pic is supposed to illustrate “locked” cam locks which are anything but. I am speechless at how badly put together this is. Do better, T&W.

Great quality desk

The desk is of extremely poor quality and poses a safety hazard. The parts do not align properly, making it impossible to assemble it securely. The pre-drilled holes are either missing or misaligned, and several screws don’t fit where they are supposed to. As a result, the desk does not sit flat or stable—it wobbles and feels unsafe to use. The instructions are unclear and poorly written, making the assembly process even more frustrating. Despite following the steps carefully, the desk could not be assembled correctly due to the design flaws and manufacturing defects. This product does not meet basic quality standards and I would like a full refund.

Great desk, was missing a cable hole (not pre drilled), despite coming with a cap for it. Other than that, can't fault it

Instructions are very bad but you can make it work desk doesn't have one cutout to run the cables properly so that great.

Lovely big desk. A real challenge to assemble however.

Great fits well in office

The desk is too difficult to fix up.

Desk was difficult to assemble as the instructions did not align well with the actual desk and where the pre-drilled holes were. Construction of the desk proved quite difficult.

A range of missing parts when putting together, instructions did not match the desk. Had to creat new holes as the holes pictures did not line up with the other parts. The draw handles are not the same as pictured and the cupboard part the arms for opening and closing didn't line up with the cupboard which meant we either had to hang it with the handle upside down on the bottom or at the top but it can't swing open properly.
