Once FINALLY assembled, it deserves 5 stars. Looks great and is very solid. However, good luck putting it together in a reasonable amount of time. Reading other reviews that mentioned difficult instructions, I thought that perhaps people just didn't read them correctly, but I can safely say, the instructions are almost completely useless. They are in fact a hindrance to the construction process. I got 3/4 of the way through, then had to deconstruct most of it to switch some pieces around after I couldn't process further, all because the initial steps in the instructions are completely inaccurate and extremely vague. To whomever purchases this item in the future, my advice is to read the instructions from start to finish very carefully multiple times before you start assembling. You'll get there in the end, but it'll take a while.

Great looking bookshelf. Instructions to put together weren't very clear and some of the pieces were missing their letter labels or had incorrect labels on which made the process a bit confusing. Great look overall though and works for what we wanted.
