Love this automatic bin. Note to myself: don’t trust husband to use a tape measure.

The bin looks stylish and the seal seems to be working well as it is keeping the bin smells at bay. The automatic lid operates reasonably quiet, but if you are after a completely silent lid do not purchase this as it is not as silent as claimed in the description. However, the main reason for the 3 Stars is due to the motion sensor on the bin. I note that the website doesn't list the sensor's range. The motion sensor does not pick up my movement until I'm within around 5cm of the sensor, sometimes needing my hands to be directly above at the 5cm distance. I have bought another automatic bin from another competitor from a random brands that is used in our bathroom which operates more quietly and the sensor activates at 20 to 30cm distance. So, it's a little disappointing to have such a highly regarded brand and an expensive bin with a poorly ranged motion sensor.

Great product. Works well. We have a family of 3 and the size is good.
