The stand I bought separate is not as good as I hoped and read on reviews prior to buying the opposite, even with 2 20kg sandbags it still wasn’t good enough for a bit of wind. The umbrella pole was bending. When it’s not windy at all the overall look is nice and the size of the umbrella is great coverage. But the 50% saving from a 800/900 cement stand you would get elsewhere is not really worth it in my opinion.

I think it would hold but it was lifting slightly so my husband insisted on putting pavers on top. But it did look nice and if you gave no wind I'm sure it would be fine. We have open land behind us so nothing to block the breeze.
