Purchased 2 of these for when the Grandchild comes around. Didn't want a permanent fixture. very quick and easy to set up. Light but strong. We use to stop going up 2 sets of wide steps. Very happy with purchase.

This gate is exactly what I wanted and it does what I need

I took off 3 stars because •you can’t use this outside if there’s a risk of it getting wet, because the MDF of the bottom rails traps water and the MDF swells and then cracks , so i’ve not got great expectations of a long life for this product. •if your doggo has long legs, like a greyhound or standard poodle, it will be able to step over this barrier because it isn’t as tall as a safety rail. You can just see the upright of our deck’s fence in the photo and this barrier comes up maybe 2/3 of the way in height

Decent product but it doesn’t stop my dog or baby from pushing it because there’s nothing for it to stick or stop from moving.
