First time I have purchased an automatic watering fountain for a cat. It works but I would suggest buying another product. It is very noisy with a humming electrical sound which is not masked by the trickling water and the cat doesn’t like to use it because of this. We have it turned off overnight so it really is just a glorified water bowl
