Loving it although the base is not as strong as I hoped.

Does the job, but its a bit flimsy and do not recommend leaving uncovered exposed to the elements as the paint is peeling allover.

Ideal but not great for outside needs to be under shelter.

Great for all my outdoor cushions and sturday enought to sit on.

Not bad, considering it is a low cost item. Not square and dont rely on the markings for the screws that hold the hydraulic arm. Also don't make the same mistake as me and put it on upside down.

The quality of finish is not good, definitely sub standard. Cheap thin wood with a multitude of imperfections, cracks between boards filled in in places, paintwork unprofessional and looks as though it won't last long and will need repainting. I am disappointed as all other products purchase from Temple & Webster have been good quality for the price

Great looking box. Good quality. Quite easy to put together apart from the last step (attaching the hinges & gas lift mechanism).

Meets expectations. We used to store deck dinning chair cushions in. 4 stars out 5 is a good rating from me (not excellent). Areas for improvement include, 2 to 3mm thicker wood to give a more robust construction, especially for the lid to sit 2 persons on. A better gas strut / lifter and better instructions to fit it. Better paint finish, probably oil based given use is outside on a covered deck.

Not exactly as described; a lot less deeper than expected, so doesnt fit pool lounge cushions

Beautiful. Just needs a little extra wood glue in the piece the gas arm is attached to.

Good for the price. We have left out in the open (not under cover) and paint is chipping.

Bigger than you would expect, not your average bench to sit on - more a box. Some tree sap on painted surface. Love the sturdiness although there was a slight issue with putting the hydraulic lifter in. But hubby could fix.

The finish on this item is very sub par and feels quite cheap despite being labelled painted hardwood. It does not appear to be sealed or primed and looks to have black spores growing through the paint from unboxing. Paint joins mostly cracked. Very average product and I've not even put it together yet

Perfect front porch box to have your shoes organised

This came without all the screws and parts, pre drilled holes were not pre drilled, instructions for hydrologic lifts were not included. Yellow marks all over the paint work and paint was patchy and unfinished. I wish o read the other poor reviews prior to purchasing 2 of these.

Useful for our needs. Came with sticky residue on it, and when we cleaned it some of the paint came off with it :(

This, for $300.00 is absolute rubbish. The finish is aweful, the unit has splits in it and the fitting of the hinges is not how its shown on the instruction leaflet.
