The instructions provided with this unit looked like a chicken had scratched all over the paper. It was very hard to see what went where. When customer service gave me a download the instructions were totally different and a lot clearer. Was provided with the wrong size dowel to hold shelves together ( too fat ) but after contacting customer service hopefully my problem will be resolved. The only problem is used spare smaller dowel to assemble and now I will have to totally disassemble to fix problem. Otherwise very nice unit for the price. Hopefully everybody else gets the updated instructions.

The instructions which leave out steps and then the random extra sized dowlings and 23 extra screws.... it has been built correctly but I still have 23 random left over screws. After construction it looks cheap and tacky... for $400 (Inc. Delivery) I'd expect it to not look like a $20 unit from other store The edges are chipped all over! The corners are damaged from the negligent transport. All I'm going to say is don't waste your money. Go to fantastic furniture and you'll get a similar item in better condition.

Very poor panels. The black had not been coated all around the edges and the unit looks old even though it had just been taken out of the box
