I like the look of these lamps which I mounted on my brick gate posts. The provided heavy Dyna-bolts are next to hopeless for this application as its next to impossible to match the drill holes with the holes in the light bases. Narrow mounting bolt might have helped but you need a good hammer drill for these anyway. I used silicon in the end because it made the job possible. The average DYO handyman could not manage this job. Product quality was AOK but fiddly and made in China which I usually steer clear of. |

Overall I’m very happy with these lights. We installed two on our front porch. They are well made, big and bold, and match the vintage of our house. Loses one star since I was not completely happy with the internal screw-in clips that retain the four glass panels. They overlap the glass ( four places on each panel) and cast a small shadow on the edges of the panes. I replaced them with longer M4 screws and rubber washers hidden behind the frame. Also, there are two screws on the top hat that are chromed and not painted black. In both cases I was being very fussy. Otherwise they installed well and look great.
