Brought this for the mother in-law as a replacement lamp for reading. She has found it to be perfect for this purpose and has no problems with it. My perspective is it's a very affordable item for mid range quality product. Sure there may be more expensive units available however this product will provide years of service at a faction of the price. Recommended for the purpose it was purchased for.
