Looks good initially and good value for money, however there is a veneer type covering giving the 'wood effect' of the wood grain on top if the table that flakes off very easily. You will need to have table cloth on all the time and place mats. Would not recommened if you need anything more than a decorative table. See photo of the sorts of flaking off of the wood effect with just placing things on the table. For the price I guess you cant complain, however if I knew it wasnt 'proper' wood I might have spent a bit more.
