Does the job but the actual sponge is tiny relative to the size of the unit, maybe a third of the total size. Be careful if you have dirt / debris on the glass as it will scratch. Definitely use the wrist strap as it fell off straight away and would have ended up on the ground floor.

Only works if you really wet the windows heaps which is not achieved by just dipping it in a bucket of soapy water. I could do this on our balcony as I could reach over the balcony to use a window washing hand piece on a handle, but when trying to do windows that only open out wards slightly, on the second and third floor, I couldn't get these windows wet enough, so it kept falling off the glass.

Great little helper! We've just moved into an inner-city apartment with sash windows and sliding windows that looked like they weren't cleaned for a long time. With the magnetic cleaner I could finally work the outside of the windows. It probably isn't the same as a proper clean, but the first 95% of a problem solving goes a long way. There were no user instructions in the packet or online, so I just soaked both ends in water, put a bit of dishwashers liquid and attached the line to my wrist to not let the outside piece fall down. You could probably do a second run with less water and no detergent but it was alright for me in the first run.
