Portia Bamboo Bed Frame

I love this bed! It was super easy to assemble. It comes with a handy little tool and easy to follow instructions. I was pretty much able to assemble it by myself. Just used a little bit of help to attach the headboard but probably could have managed. It all fits together perfectly and is super sturdy and it has a metal bar with legs to support the centre of the bed. There are no sharp corners which makes it perfect for a toddler bed. Low to the ground but still just enough room underneath for storage tubs. Easy enough to clean underneath too.

I bought this bed because it is low enough for my dog to get onto the bed without feeling like I am sleeping on the floor. The flat base meant the dimensions of my queen size mattress didn't have to be an exact fit. I did struggle with the weight and size of the single box it arrived in. I needed to organise some muscle to get it into my apartment. Putting the bed together was so easy, I managed this on my own. I am very happy with my purchase, I highly recommend this bed.

Far better than I was expecting because of the low price. The build quality is excellent, all timber was sanded very well, the holes drilled accurately and cleaned, bolts lining up very well. I think this model is worth the extra over the standard pine base only that’s also sold on here. The bamboo is very strong, and a rigid construction. It’s a good height to allow a vacuum under, and comfortable for the dog to jump up. Very happy with the buy, much better than any of the overpriced poor quality things Hardly normal sells.
