This product doesn't work. The raw unsanded finish means the paper towels doesn't spin in the holder. I had to place an old CD and the bottom to assist and will be sanding and staining every surface. That's a lot of changes to make for quite and expensive piece of bolsa wood. |

I love the the simplistic and stylish aspect of this product, however I was surprised to find it is raw unfinished timber. Given this is a high use item in a kitchen, not to mention the price point, I would have expected it to have a protective coating or lacquer of some kind.
