I am really impressed with this lamp. Yes, it is expensive, but I wanted a 'mother and child' lamp where the buttons are on the side and the cord is attached to the base of the lamp rather than running down the side. The lamp doesn't need light globes (the LEDs are inbuilt, so come as part of the lamp itself), both lights operate independently of each other, both are dimmable, and they both emit a soft white glow. I was worried the LEDs would be too bright or harsh light compared to my last lamp that used light bulbs, but they're not. The arm for the second light is also very flexible, and fantastic for close-up crafts, especially ones where you need strong and directed lighting, as the dimmer can be adjusted up or down to suit your needs. It's a beautiful lamp, very professional and modern, and very easy to put together. I also expect the LEDs will last a lot longer than light bulbs, given the warranty period, and having the flat LED arm light is a lot less intrusive on my close-up work than my old lamp, which used bulbs. Highly recommend! |
