Wow this is just the most extraordinary thing. It is very high (35cm), which is good, I can now see a lot more out of my window! I tested mattresses in the town before ordering this. It is a fraction of the price and the shipping is annoying but it is the price you pay for the fact that they don't have a shop in the town. The mattress is firmer than I expected but I had a mattress protector and topper in my order. I would buy at least one size larger for anything you plan to dress this with. My sheets are King size and they are only just big enough. Would recommend.

We have had this mattress now for a week. It is a lovely mattress but it is quite soft. There is no edge support so if you keep to close to the edge you feel as though your rolling out of the bed and if you sit in the edge you slip off which is disappointing was hoping to have this mattress for awhile but I think we will be moving it on sooner rather than later. Really comfortable mattress - firm but not too firm tall mattress (although I do have an electric blanket & a thick bamboo mattress protector as well). I’m a side sleeper but lie on my back lots while reading & am really comfortable so far. I have lower back issues but am adjusting to this mattress very quickly & have had great sleeps so far, with no back pain when I wake up.. Very little mattress movement so doesn’t disturb a partner or snoozing pet. Sides are firm & feel secure, so little risk of rolling out of bed (for other side sleepers who creep towards the edge while asleep). Does take some effort to get up from it (& not just because it’s so comfy)), so if someone has decreased mobility, make sure they’ve at least got a handle to help. Not an issue for people with normal mobility. Feels very good quality & I am very impressed & happy, particularly for the price. Was a bit of a wrestle to get the mattress unloaded (it’s 42kg when boxed) so ensure you have a second pair of hands if you can. And although it says to use the special tool to release the mattress from the vacuum plastic packing, there wasn’t one included, but I just carefully used some scissors. Just puncture the plastic a little bit first to let some air in gradually, before removing it altogether so it doesn’t expand too rapidly on you. Normal queen size sheets fit fine even though it’s tall & I haven’t had any slippage of the bottom sheet despite them not being new. Actually now I think of it, my bed covers have stayed put for days. With my previous mattress (but same electric blanket/mattress protector) they’d gradually slide off to my side of the bed. I think it’s because there’s so little movement of the mattress due to the pocket springs? Anyway I highly recommend this mattress & hope you sleep well too.
