We've had this for about a year now, and while it looked good at first, it has not held up as well as I would have expected. We have mostly had it sitting in one spot, but when we tried to move it using the wheels, two of the castors cracked through the bamboo vertical supports, splintering the wood so that the castors couldn't be reattached. We have had to prop those two legs up with solid objects. Meanwhile the hanging rail sags in the middle with far less than 5kg clothing on it (the stated weight limit), which in turn causes the upper joints to come loose. The hooks have sagged and come loose with just light use. I chose a bamboo product because I thought it was more environmentally friendly, but if we have to replace it after a year it's hardly sustainable. I wish I'd spent a bit more for something sturdier. |
