The best thing about the dehydrator is that is it digitally controlled so you can set time and temperature very easily. The worst thing is that the unit does not come with an external frame (ie. in which the trays would slide), rather it is a stack of trays that can be very difficult to align properly, resulting in a wonky stack.. TBH I probably would have bought a different model had I realised this in advance, but the product works fine. It is a bit noisy, like having the extractor fan on your oven on permanently. But so far I have enjoyed dried strawberries, apples, bananas, grapes (30 hours!), raw broccoli balls etc. Fruit straps etc to follow. :-) |
