The price is great, which should be an indication of what you get. This blanket is definitely warm, it's fluffy and doesnt sound too crunchy despite the 50% feather fill. I've not used it long enough to comment on the shedding feathers, however do want to note the strong barnyard/animalic smell - this was apparent when unboxing the item. This meant I washed it well and aired it out, fluffed it in the dryer but the scent still lingered. Some yellow staining appeared on it (brand new, never used) which I assume is from the goose feathers. Normally, feathers are cleaned very well before being used in bedding, which is dissapointing for this item. I'll need to wait for a sunny day to air it out properly, but hopefully the smell dissapates with some use. 3 Stars for the price and fluffiness! |
