Laminate edging is gloss vivid white, whereas all other surfaces are a matt off-white. Whilst we acknowledge that the item was cheap, mixing the surface finishes make it look cheap and nasty. |

Attractive piece of furniture. Assembly takes some time as there a quite a number of pieces and steps. Once assembled it is an attractive addition to the room |

A number of complaints: It takes a while to assemble, and a 2 person job if you want it done within a few hours. Have a drill on standby if you are unlucky like I was and had to deal with a total of 34 missing holes. Unfortunately, I didn't and had to improvise. The top coating is very thin and every surface (even the brown "wooden" parts) is easily splintered/scratched so be extremely careful when removing each piece from the box. Some paint came off as I was peeling the numbered stickers so now I gotta figure out how to hide them as they are quite unsightly against the white. |
