Callix 2 Door Entertainment Unit

The finished assembled TV unit looks great, happy with the result. However, there should be some sort of assembly difficulty rating prior to purchasing as this one was tough. I want to warn people prior to purchasing this item. Instructions weren’t very easy to read or clear. For a start instructions said it would take one hour, for one person to assemble, which is ridiculous, it took over four hours, with two people. I was sweating and exhausted. Definitely two people required for assembly, it is over 30kg with many panels, pieces and screws etc, the unit also requires flipping at certain points during the 18 step procedure. Instructions recommend a hammer, flat head and Phillips head screwdriver required, however only the Phillips head was needed. Fitting the panels/doors into the slots successfully was also quite difficult. Uncommon screws and locks are used requiring you to familiarise yourself with their intricacies also added to the total assembly time. Despite this, it does looks great fully assembled so it was worth it in the end. Bring a buddy.

We are veryhappy with the product itself as it is very minimalist and chic + very easy to assemble, it compliments to our new place However, 1 part of it is defective, hence, won't able us to open and close the right side of the sliding unit. Other than that, we are satisfied with how it looks! But we are wanting to have the right side of the sliding unit be replaced as it wont really open and slide.

The materials are not high end and I won't be opening the sliding doors too often as I think they'd wear too quickly but for the price it really is a nice little unit. I bought this in black for our back room. Loved it so much I've ordered an oak coloured one for our front room. Easy enough to assemble if you're methodical in following the instructions. Admittedly it took me 2.5 hours, but it was worth the effort.

Cabinet looks great and mostly works well. It’s a good size for holding a 65” TV and soundbar (as shown in the photo). The handles seem a bit flimsy and the sliding action is quite tough to get started, which makes me worry about the handles even more. Also, the doors don’t open quite far enough to allow easy access to the extreme left and right of the storage space — you can get to it but it’’s obscured. Overall, good product and good service!
