Only just set this up a week ago and loving it. Haven't tested how it copes with food spills etc but it looks exactly as we wanted it to look. It is mighty heavy and whilst easy to assemble it is more than a one person job, it needs 2 quite strong people. We were downsizing our table so the extension option is perfect for when we still need the bigger table. Presumably due to the sheer weight of the table top the extension mechanism isn't that quick and easy to pull out, but it gives very sturdy and safe vibes and is very discreet when used everyday in the smaller position.

A beautiful, albeit heavy dining table (140kg). The ceramic top is stunningly modern perfectly matching my dining room space. The extension providing an additional 2 seating spots will be used for our forthcoming Christmas dinner. In its shorter form, the table can seat 8 with a more narrow dining chair selected. |
