i love this lamp. he colour is more grey than blue and the texture on the base adds interest without drama. the white shade helps it throw a soft gentle light into the room. The lamp requires some assembly when it arrives. the metal halo which the shade attaches to has a plate at the top. the plate on ours was not horizontal and required some very careful wiggling to enable the shade to sit flat and even. the knot with screws down to hold the shade in place had been drilled off centre which also skewed the shade. the addition of a couple of washers helps with the problem and everything is now sitting straight. the lamp is well worth the effort but be aware that some tinkering may be needed. |
