It's so thick... I wasn't expecting it to be so thick and heavy! The mattress topper provides an extra level of comfort and had improved quality of sleep. The cotton cover feels robust and it appears to be well constructed (so far there hasn't been any feather leakage). The elastic straps are likely to give way in a reasonably short period as they have to stretch around a thick mattress, but holding it in place with a mattress protector shouldn't be an issue. |

I didn’t understand the fuss about toppers and waterproofing.
